Give’m Health: Children With Special Healthcare Needs

by | Dec 15, 2021 | News | 0 comments

TriCounty Health’s Give’m Health focus this week aims to educate the community on resources available for children with special needs. CSHCN, which stands for Children With Special Healthcare Needs, is a program that provides assessments to determine a child and their family’s needs. CSHCN can connect families with medicaid, Social Security, and other resources. It helps refer and connect families to family Doctors and specialized medical care, community-based services, and more. TriCounty Health RN Ericka Wall says that their role is simply to help you. It’s all about providing support and connecting families to the resources they need.
