Give’m Health: All Invited To Take Community Needs Assessment Online

TriCounty Health Department wants to hear from every resident in northeastern Utah as they conduct a Community Needs Assessment throughout the entire tri-county area. Health promotion director Sage McMickell visited the Evans Family Media studios for a radio interview explaining what the assessment is all about. The survey is just 10 questions long and can be done online or on paper. “We want people to let us know the most important health needs in our communities,” shared McMickell. “We want to know what we need to be focusing on and what we need to do to help.” There are lists of potential needs included that you can check off what you feel are the priorities. For example, if you feel our community needs more resources for mental health and suicide prevention there will be a place to explain as much or as little as wished. The health department will have the assessment available for anyone to take at the Health Extravaganza at the Roosevelt Crossroads Senior Center on Saturday from 10am to 5pm.

It can also easily be accessed and taken at www.tricountyhealth.com
