Those in need of vital records such as birth and death certificates can now order them on the health department’s website. “It can be helpful to obtain a copy of a birth certificate for situations such as school registry, receiving a driver’s license, getting married, and sometimes even signing up for sports,” shares TriCounty Health. “When someone in your family dies, sometimes it is important to obtain a record of the death certificate for legal purposes, accessing pension benefits, claiming life insurance, settling estates, or getting remarried after becoming a widow or widower.” Visit
