Give Em’ Health: National Bike to Work Month

by | May 16, 2018 | News | 0 comments

May is National Bike to Work Month and TriCounty Health is urging residents in the TriCounty area to give it a try! Whether you bike to work or school, ride to save money or time, pump those pedals to preserve your health or the environment, or simply to explore your community, TriCounty is promoting National Bike Month as an opportunity to celebrate the unique power of the bicycle and the many reasons to ride. TriCounty Health Director Jordan Mathis says he loves biking to work and biking in this area because most places are close enough to bike to and from. Biking to work is wonderful, says Mathis, and starts his day off so much better. For those willing to give it a try, Mathis recommends remembering the ABCs of biking before heading out. Check the AIR in the tires, make sure the BRAKES are working, and the CHAIN is functioning. For more information on National Bike to Work Month, visit
