Funds Awarded For Projects, Including Road Improvements In Duchesne County

The Permanent Community Impact Board (CIB) has approved funds for projects in northeastern Utah. The Department of Workforce Services issued a press release last week highlighting that a $1,800,000 dollar grant and a $1,200,000 dollar low-interest loan for Duchesne County Special Service District #2 was approved to provide phase 1 of the Gate Canyon Road improvements. The CIB also approved funding to Uintah Special Service District 1 for a $2,559,000 dollar grant for Seep Ridge Road improvements as well as to Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Improvement District for a $400,000 dollar grant for a sewer cleaner and vacuum system truck.
