On December 11th, at approximately 9:29am, a crash involving 3 passenger vehicles and a Semi pulling a fully loaded tanker was reported to the Rio Blanco County Dispatch Center. Highway 13 was shut down at about mile marker 29.5. The Colorado State Patrol and Rio Blanco County Sheriff’s Office responded to process the scene. Highway 13 was reopened after the investigation and clearing of the road. Rio Blanco Sheriff’s Office expressed their gratitude to the public for the patience and understanding as first responders worked to get the road open.
