A Uintah Basin local bullrider tied for 1st at the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo over the weekend, thrilling the crowd. World champion bull rider Josh Frost received 88.5 points on bull ‘Workin Man’, tying with Dalton Allred on ‘Big Wishita’. Frost shared that this was a special win for him. “This is my hometown rodeo and a win I’ve looked forward to since I was a kid,” shared Frost. “Always grateful for the chance to ride in front of family, friends, and the people who have supported me from the beginning.” Other results for the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo include Bodie Mattson as the All-Around Cowboy and winners Cole Reiner in Bareback, Tyler Waguespack in Steer Wrestling, Cory Kidd V/Carson Johnson in Team Roping, Wyatt Casper in Saddle Bronc, Blane Cox and Kincade Henry tied in Tie-Down Roping, and Megan McLeod-Sprague and Alyssa Urbanek-Wade tied in Barrel Racing. The total payoff for the 2026 Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo was $227,381.
