Uintah and Duchesne counties make spring cleanup more affordable each year by sponsoring Free Dump Week and it is coming up April 25th through May 2nd. K and K Sanitation is partnering with Duchesne County Landfill and Uintah County Landfill for residential Free Dump Week. Everyone must check in at the office with a city bill or K&K bill prior to dumping and remember that all loads need to be secured and covered. For small loads the $5 fee is waived, for pick-up and trailer the $10 fee is waived, and for dump trucks the $40 fee is waived. Please note, no refrigerators will be accepted, the maximum amount of tires is 12 per day, and commercial entities are not eligible for Free Dump Week. Any load not covered or secure will be charged the normal rate plus an additional fee. The Vernal area landfill is also participating in Free Dump Week.
