UBTech has announced another new partnership that has made a commitment to support local UBTech students by funding scholarships. FourPoint Resources is an oil and gas company that acquired Uinta Basin assets formerly operated by Ovintiv earlier this year. The announcement shares that today, the company holds one of the largest contiguous acreage positions in the basin—126,000 net acres spanning Duchesne and Uintah counties. With plans to grow production and explore new development opportunities, FourPoint is committed to a long-term presence in the region. “We are excited and proud to be an operator here in the Uinta Basin and see a long runway of opportunity for our company,” shares Jenna Samek, Director of Corporate Communications. “We’re not only investing through the drill bit, but we’re also investing in the people and partnerships that make this basin so special.”
