The 4th of July
is a patriotic day throughout the Uintah Basin and a day to watch the sky for an exhilarating symbol of American pride! The Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce confirmed on Monday that once again the Vernal
4th of July
parade will feature a flyover. The 419th Fighter Wing will provide a flyover of the 4-ship F-35 Lightning Fighter Jets. The Vernal parade
starts at 10am
and the flyover is usually around that time. Of course, other areas of the Basin can keep an eye to the sky for a chance to see the jets as well. The Vernal Chamber is still accepting applications for entrants in the parade. Applications are available at the Vernal Chamber Office or you can call

. There will be prizes for Most Patriotic, Best Flag Display, Little Patriot, and Most Unique. This year’s theme for the parade is “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.”
