The 4th annual Sub for Seniors Christmas drive has been the most successful year, to date. The first year brought cheer to 75 senior households while this year Sub for Seniors is going to help over 200. “Our team of volunteers are humbled and left without words to describe our gratitude for our community, near and far, for the support and for helping us provide for 200 deserving and forgotten people,” shares coordinator Tiffany Henline. “[There are] so many unsung heroes, so many donors, and well wishers. We are surrounded by the greatest of people, doing really great things. Kudos to you all for making this year a success.” There is still time to give but you need to act quickly as the hope is to begin delivering the bags on Thursday. Donations are always welcome, however, and items can be dropped off at the Golden Age Center. The Heritage Museum notes that they were able to deliver 200 cards to be in the bags. Now they are gathering cards for the residents of the Beehive homes and the Uintah Care Center and would love more to give.
