FBI Investigating Homicide Near Whiterocks; Arrest Made

The FBI is investigating the death of a woman in the Whiterocks area as a homicide. According to FBI Public Affairs Specialist Sandra Yi Barker, the body of a female was discovered on a road northwest of Whiterocks on Wednesday, August 23rd. “The body was found under suspicious circumstances and is being investigated as a homicide,” shares Barker. “The victim in this past Wednesday’s homicide has been identified as 20-year-old Sukakee Manyhides.” The FBI reports that a woman, 30-year-old Zhondee Nephi, was arrested early
Saturday morning
and is currently in tribal custody. Law enforcement is currently looking for 33-year-old Drew Black who is considered a person of interest in the case. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office reports that Black also uses the name Drew Cuch. While the booking photo shows Black with long hair, investigators say he no longer has long hair.
