An ATV accident over the weekend resulted in a fatality in Colorado. A Glenwood Springs man was driving a side by side ATV near Rifle when he lost control of the ATV. The vehicle was sent down a steep embankment and the 54-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. While the man was wearing a seatbelt, he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The autopsy report confirmed that the man’s fatal injuries included blunt force trauma. Toxicology labs showed that the man’s blood alcohol level was slightly over the legal limit at 0.1%.
