One man is dead after an accident north of Rifle on Tuesday. A Grand Junction man was traveling on Highway 13 when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled and 54-year-old Troy Friar was pronounced dead at the scene. Friar was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Officials say drugs and alcohol are being investigated as possible contributors to the accident. On Wednesday, a non-fatal accident occurred in Moffat County. A 27-year-old Fort Collins man was traveling alone when the single vehicle rollover occurred. He was not injured in the accident.
