Plan on family friendly fun the first few days of July in Roosevelt City. The Roosevelt Arts, Parks and Recreation Committee has planned something for everyone. On July 1st there will be a pickleball tournament for advanced and intermediate players at Central Park at 6pm. There will be more pickleball on July 2nd at 7:30am for families and individuals to learn how to play for free. On the same day there will be disc golf over at Constitution Park from 9 to 11am that will include prizes for making a hole in one and a raffle. The 4th of July will be a combination of events at Constitution Park, including the Roosevelt Red Fun Run , cornhole league tournament, food trucks, live music, and fireworks.
