Every year, the organizers with EyeCare4Kids make sure to schedule visits in communities in northeastern Utah. One such opportunity is happening today in Vernal. What is EyeCare4Kids? It is a global children’s charity that aims to provide free professional eye exams and low to no cost glasses for children. “We believe that it is a human rights’ issue for children to have clear vision to learn, grow in confidence and self-love,” shares Joseph Carbone, EyeCare4KidsTM Founder. “Many children do not even know they have a vision problem that is affecting their ability to concentrate and engage with their environment until it is recognized by a teacher, school nurse or eyecare professional.” The EyeCare 4 Kids free screenings are happening today at the Uintah County Library from 10am to noon.
