Uintah County Library is preparing for the launch of local author Bethany Wiggins’ next book,
The Dragon’s Price.
Wiggins first found success in the publishing world with her book
Shifting
, published in 2011 by industry powerhouse Walker/Bloomsbury. Her popularity rapidly grew with her next two novels
Stung
in 2013 and its sequel
Cured
in 2014. Wiggins has received multiple state and national awards for
Stung
in the years since, with Scholastic Books buying the rights to sell her books. Wiggins has now signed with renowned publisher Random House Books who has contracted with Wiggins for a fantasy fiction trilogy about a brave dragon hunter in the form of a teenage girl. The Uintah County Library is hosting a launch party for the first book in the trilogy,
The Dragon’s Price
