Showing appreciation for teachers can take many forms. One that could mean a lot to the amazing teacher in your life is taking the time to nominate them for the 2022 Uintah Schools Foundation Showalter Endowment’s Excellence In Teaching Award. This annual honor is chosen from teacher nominations submitted by students, former students, or student’s family members. The Uintah Schools Foundation has the near impossible job of narrowing the pool down to two teachers each year. The Foundation has been recognizing outstanding teachers who have given extraordinary service to students since 1997. Link to the Excellence In Teaching nomination form on uintah.net. Nomination forms submitted by mail must be postmarked by Friday, March 11th. Nomination forms can also be dropped off in person at the District Office in Naples but must be turned in by 5:00pm on Monday, March 14th.
