A final Basin’s Best Teacher was surprised last week by the Evans Family Media team. Tami Valora is a 5th grade teacher at Maeser Elementary who was selected for her dedication, positive classroom impact, and commitment to student success. A classroom celebration was held on Friday, December 19th, honoring her and her students. In addition to the cash prize, school supplies were donated to Maeser Elementary School as part of the award. The Basin’s Best Teacher promotion, which celebrated outstanding educators across the Uintah Basin, has now officially concluded. The promotion emphasized the importance of recognizing and supporting local educators. The cash prize awarded to the winning teacher was generously donated by the program sponsors. Sponsors recognized for their support include Cozy Minky Company, Revive Skin Care and Laser, Jolley Orthodontics, Marion’s Variety, ServiceMaster Restore, and TJ’s Tire Pros in Vernal and Roosevelt.
