Uintah County Emergency Management has announced that Uintah County, along with Daggett and Duchesne Counties, will be having a test of the emergency alerting system next week. It’s recommended for all citizens to sign up to receive emergency alerts but these alerts are only effective if your information is current. Take a moment to log in and verify your details. If you are not a fan of receiving calls from unknown numbers then you can save the numbers into your phone. The test will be held on Wednesday, August 20th. If you have not signed up yet, please visit tricountyemergencyalert.genasys.com to register. If you need help signing up or updating your information, contact the Uintah County Emergency Management office at 435-781-5466.
