The 2025 election is happening one week from today and there’s a few reminders worth noting. Early voting in Roosevelt City starts today and runs through October 31st from 8am to noon in the Council Chambers. There is also a drop box at the Roosevelt City building in the parking lot and another inside at the front desk.
In Uintah County, Early Voting runs through Friday, October 31st in the Clerk-Auditor’s Office during regular business hours. Drop boxes are available at the various City Buildings during their respective business hours. The Uintah County Library drive thru drop box is available 24/7 until it closes at 8pm on Election Day. And remember: ballots must be physically received by the county clerk by 8pm on election night to be counted. The only exception to this rule is military and overseas voters so plan to return your ballot promptly to be sure it is counted.
