It’s Election Day and Duchesne County Clerk/Auditor JoAnn Evans has a message for voters: Do NOT take ballots to the post office. It is too late for that! Instead, completed ballots can be delivered to a ballot box. In Duchesne County, there are ballot boxes at the city buildings in Roosevelt, Myton, Duchesne, Altamont, and Tabiona, as well as at the Duchesne County building. “They will all be locked at 8pm,” shares Clerk/Auditor Evans. “Please don’t wait until the last minute to drop ballots and make sure to sign the envelopes.” Uintah County also has drop boxes at its city buildings but those drop boxes are only available until 5pm while the drop box at the Uintah County Library will be available until 8pm. Contact your Clerk/Auditor’s Office if you have questions.
