Election Ballots in Uintah County Hitting Mail On October 31st

Ballots will hit the mail on October 31st in Uintah County so voters in the Cities and Ashley Valley Water & Sewer Improvement District should watch for their ballots arriving this week. The Ballard City ballot includes just one race: two four year terms for Ballard City Council. Voters select up to 2 individuals out of candidates Shaun Murray, Robin Moran, Mark Reidhead, and Ben John Allred. The Naples City ballot includes a two year term for Naples City Council between Brock Arnold and Andrew Bentley; and a four year term for Naples City Council which voters can select up to three between Ross Morton, Dan Olsen, Bruce Hacking, Kenneth Reynolds, and Stephanie Adams. The Vernal City ballot includes a four year term for Vernal City Council which voters can select up to three between Nick Porter, Marylou Molina, Randel Mills, Robin O’Driscoll, and Edward Long. Finally, for those that live within the Ashley Valley Water and Sewer Improvement District, the ballot includes a four year term on the board which voters can select up to three between David Hatch, Max Haslem, Dean Baker, and Robert Jolley. Drop Boxes will be at the Cities and the County Building as well as the drive-thru at the Uintah County Library. There will be a Vote Center open 7am to 8pm on Election Day on November 21st in the Uintah County Commission Chambers. The voter registration deadline is November 13th.
