Election Day is November 6th and registered voters around the Uintah Basin should now have their ballots in hand. According to Duchesne County Clerk-Auditor Joann Evans, ballots in Duchesne County started being delivered on Saturday. There was a mail truck accident that has delayed some ballots but majority of voters should have ballots in hand by now. Uintah County Clerk-Auditor Mike Wilkins also confirms that Uintah County ballots were delivered Saturday and Monday so every registered voter should have received theirs in the mail by now. When submitted by mail, ballots must be postmarked no later than the day before Election day. To vote in person bring your ballot and picture ID to the county Clerk-Auditor’s Office. Early voting in person starts October 29th and runs through November 2nd. Direct any election questions to the county clerk’s office.
