Bridge demolition is underway on the East White Rocks Bridge. The R. Chapman Construction Team were scheduled to begin the replacement project early this morning. “Detour routes will be in place so we urge the traveling public to use caution and follow all construction signs and detours both west and east of the bridge,” shares R Chapman Construction. “Type 3 Barricades will be placed across the roadway blocking off public access to the construction site as the bridge will be out of service until late July.” Safety is of course the top priority so the public is asked to remain outside the construction closures until construction is complete.
