One of the joys of summer is the opportunity to make memories, especially at beautiful fishing holes. The Division of Wildlife Resources apparently agrees because they have teamed up with Moon Lake Resort to celebrate 100 years of operation at Moon Lake, located north of Mountain Home. “Join DWR staff to learn basic angling techniques and tips and tricks for fishing on Moon Lake, nestled at the southern base of the Uinta Mountains,” shares the announcement. “Come celebrate a little piece of Uintah Basin history by fishing with the experts and enjoying other fun-filled activities.” The Youth Fishing event is happening June 21st from 9am to noon at Moon Lake Resort. Register ahead of time on Eventbrite.com.
