Archery season opened over the weekend and the Division of Wildlife Resources wants all to listen up. Don’t forget to: Open your permit envelope and know your hunt area boundaries; Be aware of fire restrictions; Obtain written permission from private landowners before hunting on their property or using their property to access public land; And know your target. Fall is the biggest hunting time of the year and the DWR is sharing proposed changes to rules. During the August/September round of Regional Advisory Council (RAC) meetings, DWR biologists are proposing changes to some fishing and hunting rules, and public feedback is wanted.
