Duchesne High Girls Wrestling Wins 2A/1A Division; Tabiona Takes 2nd

Duchesne High School hosted the 2A/1A Division A girls wrestling tournament over the weekend and Duchesne girls wrestling won, with 253 team points over second place Altamont with 151 team points, making Duchesne the Division champs. Duchesne champions in their weight class were Leah Ivie, Mckenlee Sprecher, Rexlynn Jessen, Abigail Woods, and Kenzlee Van Wyck. Duchesne wrestlers that took second place were Shaylee Ivie, Ariana Jones, Kaitlynn Mcphie, Dakoda Keel, and Autumn Munoz. Altamont wrestler Preslee Thacker won in her weight class and Altamont wrestlers that took second place were Jennesi Crowley, Oaklee Bird, and Jaidyn Draper. Both teams also had many others make it on the podium. Congratulations to the Duchesne and Altamont girls wrestling teams on the success at the Division tournament. The girls 2A/1A state tournament is happening February 13th and 14th.
