The Duchesne Fire Department has another safety message for the community. When it comes to home heating, be sure to have your equipment and chimney properly maintained. “Have your furnace, chimney, and other heating equipment inspected and cleaned by a qualified professional each year to prevent fires,” shares the announcement.
“Install and regularly test working smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms to protect against fire and poisoning. Develop and practice a home fire escape plan so everyone knows how to get out safely.”
