Duchesne County Sub For Santa Applications Now Open

There are several programs around the Uintah Basin set up to help families during the holidays. The Sub For Santa program through the Duchesne County Development Corporation is now accepting applications for the upcoming Christmas holiday. “Sub for Santa is a supplemental program to help children ages newborn to 18, or those still enrolled in school who have not yet graduated,” shares the announcement. “Families in need can apply for assistance and must meet specific income guidelines.” Applications can be picked up at the Chamber/DCDC Office, Roosevelt Library, Division of Workforce Services, and the Roosevelt Vision Clinic. Completed applications need to be turned in by November 25th. Please note that there are several holiday programs in the Uintah Basin but families may be accepted to only one supplemental program.
