As of July 22nd, Duchesne County has shifted back down to the Moderate COVID-19 Transmission Index Level while Uintah County remains at the High Level and Daggett County remains at the Low Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 17 percent and there were 179 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 7 percent and there were 53 cases, and Daggett County was 0 percent with 0 cases. Statewide total ICU utilization was 83 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 23 percent. The report shows locally 13 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations in the past seven days and 1 new COVID-19 related death.
