The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office made an exciting announcement this week. They have continued growth of their K-9 Unit with the addition of two new teams. K-9 Baku will serve with Deputy Matthew Borrelli as handler and K-9 Crash will serve with Deputy Nathan Smith as handler. “These teams have dedicated countless hours to rigorous training, building the trust, discipline, and unbreakable bond required to serve our community effectively and safely,” shares the announcement. “Being a K-9 handler carries tremendous responsibility, requiring commitment both on and off duty. We are confident Deputies Borrelli and Smith will excel in their new roles and continue the proud tradition of excellence within our K-9 Unit.” Congratulations to these deputies and a big welcome to K-9 Crash and K-9 Baku!
