The amazing volunteers of Duchesne County Search and Rescue were honored last week at their annual banquet. “In 2025, these dedicated volunteers completed over 400 search hours and logged an impressive 272 hours of training, continually sharpening their skills so they are ready whenever the call comes,” shares the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office. “…These individuals are all volunteers who respond at a moment’s notice to search for missing or lost individuals. They are our family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers — truly the community’s best of the best.” Several search and rescue members were recognized, including Ken Moon for 40 years of service and Norm Larsen for 35 years of service.
