The Duchesne County School District had a big announcement on Tuesday. According to the announcement, the Duchesne County Board of Education has filled the District Superintendent position. Jason Young has been appointed Superintendent of Schools for Duchesne County School District. The District shared that “having completed a search for candidates from outside and inside the District, the Board is confident [Young] is well qualified to lead the District. Jason has a great passion for the education of our students and brings a wealth of experience having served for many years as a teacher, principal, and curriculum director.” Young has currently been serving as the Principal of Duchesne High School.
