The Utah Association of County Recorders has selected Duchesne County Recorder Shelley Brennan as the 2017 County Recorder of the Year. Since 1998, the Association has selected one Recorder who stood out among the rest each year. “Shelley has consistently demonstrated her value as a recorder at the county level, but also statewide,” shares Doug Perry of the Utah Association of Counties. “She is a great mentor to other recorders and this tribute to her work and commitment to the recorders is very fitting.” Brennan took office as Duchesne County Recorder in 2011 and is the first recorder from Duchesne County to receive the award. “It is truly an honor to be recognized by such an amazing group of peers,” shares Ms. Brennan. “I cannot express how much I value the support and collaboration of this Association, my fellow Recorders and my amazing staff.” Brennan will be formally honored at the UAC Annual Convention in St. George this November.
