Duchesne County Preliminary Primary Election Results

The preliminary results for the Duchesne County 2022 Republican Primary Election report that 3,702 Republican ballots were cast for a voter turnout of 48.68 percent. In the State House District 67 race, incumbent Christine F. Watkins received 1,178 votes and Tom Hansen received 1,127 votes. In the Duchesne County Commission Seat A race, Tracy Killian received 1,837 votes and incumbent Greg Todd received 1,823 votes. In the Duchesne County Clerk-Auditor race, Chelise Jessen received 2,151 votes and incumbent JoAnn Evans received 1,521 votes. In the Duchesne County Sheriff race, incumbent Travis Tucker received 2,411 votes and Dela Williams received 1,247 votes. The Duchesne County election canvassing will take place July 11th in the Commission Chambers at noon. With final results, the winning candidate will officially be on the November ballot as the Republican nominee.
