Once again Duchesne County set the bar for having fun and enjoying summer adventures. The Duchesne County Passport Party was held at the Centennial Event Center in Duchenne City on Wednesday, August 8th, with a great turnout.  “The parental support of this program is amazing,” states program director Irene Hansen, noting that grandparents, uncles, aunts, and other supporters came to watch the fun. Over 60 prizes, including  bikes, paddle boards, hover-boards, tents, sleeping bags, and disc golf were given out. Each and every child received a backpack full of treats and an adorable Duchesne County t-shirt to make the day complete. Children had to complete at least 30 stamps to get an invitation to the exclusive party. Hansen credits the amazing businesses and agencies that sponsor the program for its great success. Duchesne  County Chamber of Commerce and Duchesne County Travel and Tourism are already thinking of new ways to enhance the program for upcoming years.
