The bail/bond hearing is scheduled for today in 8th District Court for a Duchesne County man facing child sex charges. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, officers began investigating in July allegations of sexual abuse of a child in a Myton home. As a result of the investigation, 66-year-old Teodulo Avila was taken into custody on July 31st while at his place of employment and was booked into Duchesne County Jail. Avila is charged with 2 counts of 1st Degree Felony Object Rape of a Child and 2 counts of 1st Degree Felony Sodomy on a Child.
