A Duchesne County man has been arrested and charged after admitting to child sexual abuse. Roosevelt City officers questioned the man after a report came from Davis County about the potential abuse. 55-year-old Steven Ken Stanton admitted to officers that the initial sexual abuse occurred while living in Herriman and then another incident occurred at his residence in Roosevelt City. Stanton was arrested and booked into Duchesne County Jail for Lewdness Involving A Child on the Roosevelt incident and information on the initial sexual abuse was forwarded to the Herriman Police Department. Stanton’s initial appearance is scheduled for today in 8th District Court.
