It’s time for Country Nights & Neon Lights at the Duchesne County Fair. The 2025 Legendary Cowboy is Lloyd Miles of Mountain Home. From a young age Lloyd helped his dad with all the farm work. He grew to love working with the livestock and was a great worker, of course tending the irrigation water, putting up hay, and of course fixing fences. He married his high school sweetheart Nancy and they raised two sons. He always dreamed of having an indoor arena and with the help of his sons, Wayne and Brent, built their own arena using mostly used materials and it has been used every day since. Eventually, Lloyd was able to buy his great-grandfather’s place in Mountain Home, helping grow their operation to the point that they now run about 600 cows. At 81-years-old, Lloyd Miles still feeds his own cows and tends the water. He has sons and grandchildren to help with the bigger jobs which is a blessing. Legendary Cowboy Lloyd Miles will be recognized during this year’s Duchesne County Fair.
