Unofficial election results were shared across Duchesne County on Tuesday night. For Roosevelt City Mayor, Tommy Kent Olsen received 606 votes and Don Busenbark received 458 votes. For two positions on Roosevelt City Council, Rowdy Cloward received 547 votes, Beau Hancock received 536 votes, Preston Kadleck received 430 votes, and Brandon Hollenback received 391 votes. Roosevelt voters approved the ZAP tax with a 70% vote in favor. For Duchesne City Mayor, Deborah Herron received 285 votes and Jason Baker received 231 votes. For Duchesne City Council, Marty Herrera received 358 votes, Mark Nielsen received 259 votes, Jenny Adams received 218 votes, and Dawnette Browning received 162 votes. Duchesne City voters approved Proposition 6, the RAP tax. For Myton City Mayor, Linda Harrington received 47 votes and Kathleen Cooper received 31 votes. For Myton City Council, Harold Crapo received 53 votes, Wilford Conetah received 41 votes, Sherri Stoddard received 32 votes, and Michael Fenn received 28 votes. Ballard City candidates ran unopposed so Nile Mathisen will serve as Mayor, Steven Secrest and Alfred Kettle will serve on Ballard City Council, and Mark Reidhead, Jesse Danley, and Shane Jenson will serve on the Ballard Water District Board.
