Duchesne County Drug Arrests

Law enforcement has been busy fighting drugs in the Basin and Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office announced


Wednesday


that progress is being made. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a significant amount of drugs have been taken off the streets in the past week following multiple arrests. On September 9th, a traffic accident on US-191 south of Duchesne City sent the driver of the vehicle, Michael Lyndsay, to the hospital. During a search of the car, officers found heroin, nearly one pound of meth, methadone pills, morphine sulfate pills, oxycodone pills and paraphernalia. Once released from the hospital, Lyndsay was booked on drug charges into Duchesne County Jail. On September 12th, Landon Peatross was arrested and booked into jail after being found with Heroin in his possession. On September 13th, Shane Davis and Cherice Hipolito were arrested after a large quantity of methamphetamines, multiple bags of heroin, scales and drug paraphernalia were discovered following a search of their residence.
