The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office has celebrated more DARE graduations of Duchesne County 5th graders. First, the Sheriff’s Office celebrated with the Altamont Elementary 5th graders. The DARE essay winners in Altamont were Sanford Esplin and Rebecca Allen. Special guests at the ceremony included members of the Duchesne County Fire Department who gave hands-on demonstrations of CPR and other life saving techniques. This week, Neola Elementary celebrated their DARE graduation. The winners of the DARE essay were Kit Angus and Elena Curtis. The Sheriff’s Office gave a thank you to School Resource Officer Kevin Priebe for his dedication to mentoring and teaching local youth the importance of making safe, healthy, and responsible choices.
