The Duchsene County Dude is making a comeback and the Duchesne County Chamber of Commerce is using the Dude as a creative way to get everyone to talk about local legends, modern myths and the tall tales of the community. Whether it is looking for the monster in the lake at Moon Lake resort, trying to catch a glimpse of bigfoot in Uintah County or the legend of the Roads Gold Mine, there are many interesting tales to get excited about. The DC Dude is a way to add your family’s story to these tales. Take photos of the places you go and the things you see. Pick up a DC Dude from the Duchesne County Chamber of Commerce, decorate your DC Dude to represent your tale and then bring him back to the Chamber in the Crossroads Building at 50 East and 200 South and get entered to win prizes. This will be going on all summer and the drawing for prizes will be on Wednesday, August 3rd. This is open for kids 12 and younger.
