Duchesne County is seeking input as they work on the County’s 2025 General Plan. The General Plan is “a long-term policy document that serves as a blueprint for guiding the growth and development of a community. It establishes a vision for the future, reflecting the community’s goals and priorities, and addresses critical issues such as land use, housing, transportation, economic development, public services, and natural resources.” Duchesne County began collecting data in December 2024 and is now in the Community Engagement phase. This summer the Draft Plan Elements will be put together. The plan will be reviewed and refined in the fall with the goal of finalizing and adopting it by February 2026. The community is encouraged to share their input through an online survey available at www.DuchesneGP2025.com. There will also be time during the June 4th Planning Commission Meeting at the Crossroads Center at 5pm to discuss the General Plan and take the survey.
