Work continues on the U.S. Route 191 Indian Canyon project, including coming into Duchesne and the US-40 intersection. The Utah Department of Transportation’s most recent report states that crews are widening US-191 (100 West) to add a dedicated northbound right-turn lane and in order to round the corner for easier turning onto US-40. Barriers have been installed along the work area along US-191 and northbound traffic has been shifted to the left. The intersection at US-191 and 100 South is now closed. To avoid the work zone, residents that live near the 100 South and 100 West intersection may access their homes from Center Street. Drivers on US-191 can still make right-turns onto US-40 and traffic restrictions will last approximately 4 weeks.
