A dream is coming true for a Vernal middle schooler who has overcome intense
challenges over the last 6 months. ‘Dreams in Motion Utah-Wyoming’ presented the
special surprise to Kache Bushman at the end-of-year assembly at Vernal Middle School.
Kache and his family were in a car crash in December that resulted in Kache losing the
lower part of his right leg. “Dreams in Motion co-founder Bruce Tippets and board
members Cheryl Meier and Sid Smith presented Kache with a trip to Atlanta where he
and his family will get to watch the Atlanta Braves play the New York Yankees at Truist
Park,” shares the announcement. “Kache will also get to go on the field for batting
practice and meet the Braves players.” Kache was thrilled by the surprise as was
everyone in attendance. At the conclusion of the presentation, Meier said, “”Let this be a
reminder to everyone here, when life throws you a curveball, you can still knock it out of
the park.”
