Two individuals were arrested at a gas station in Duchesne City on Saturday after dispatch received calls from concerned citizens. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, it was reported that a vehicle had been parked at a gas pump for a period of time with a female slumped over the steering wheel and little movement observed of the male passenger. Officers responded and knocked on the vehicle window to get the occupants attention. In speaking with the occupants, officers observed indicators of drug use. When asked to get out of the vehicle, the driver, identified as Dani Petty, grabbed items near the center console to shove into her pockets. An orange needle cap fell from her person and officers observed white crystal residue consistent with Methamphetamine. When asked, Dani removed the items from her pockets which included Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The passenger, identified as Jessie Bromley, was also asked to exit the vehicle and more Methamphetamine and paraphernalia were located. A bag belonging to Bromley also included items consistent with check fraud, including washed checks and checks in other people’s names. Jessie Craig Bromley was arrested and is charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Forgery, as well as a Misdemeanor drug related charge. Dani Lynn Petty was arrested and is facing Misdemeanor drug related charges.
