Dollar Ridge Fire-Aid Fair: Every Dollar You Spend Goes To Rebuilding Families

by | Aug 21, 2018 | News | 0 comments

The Dollar Ridge Fire caught the attention and serious concern of Uintah Basin residents and beyond as it rapidly spread in early July. While that tragedy may have faded from some memories, the rebuilding process is barely beginning for the many families that lost their homes, property, and animals. Thankfully, a generous group of local businesses and citizens have organized a two-day event this weekend in which residents can enjoy entertainment, food, and other activities and every single penny they spend will be given directly to the Dollar Ridge Fire victims administered through Duchesne County. Listen to the live radio auction broadcast on Eagle Country 105.5 KLCY on Friday starting at 1:00pm. Every cent of every auction item you win goes to the rebuilding families. Buy a hamburger, drink, or snack from the concessions stand and every penny is added to the fund. The indoor benefit concert on Saturday night at 9:00pm, featuring well-known and loved artist Jamie O’Neil, is a steal at $12 dollars per ticket or $20 dollars per couple and every bit of your ticket price goes to rebuild a home and restore hope. How is it possible for all the funds to be donated? All overhead costs are being covered by the event organizers and sponsors including concessions, auction items, infrastructure, stage, lighting, advertising, talent fees, and more. Again, the money you spend only goes to help the suffering families who need help rebuilding. Come support this amazing cause. Visit
