Scams come in so many forms it is crucial to exercise caution even when a phone call or email seems commonplace. Last month, local reports of scammers posing as Dish Network representatives began to spread. In the month since, reports have only grown and expanded throughout the region. Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office is the most recent law enforcement agency to warn citizens of this scam aimed at obtaining credit card information. Dish Network urges customers to never give out information over the phone. If they receive a phone call from a scammer, they are invited to report it to the Dish Network Fraud Department by calling
